The 13.1 mile course begins at the Ouray Hot Springs Park, north of town in Ouray, Colorado. The race winds through the city of Ouray and then goes north on County Road 17 to County Road 23 along the Uncompahgre River Valley and into the town of Ridgway.
The entry fee includes snacks at the finish line and an official race t-shirt. Fees go directly to Mt Sneffels Education Foundation, a non profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives and educational experiences of the youth in Ouray County. Local contact is Glynn Williams at 970-325-4932.
At 11:00 a.m., there is a 1-mile Kids Fun Run. $10 registration fee, includes snack & short sleeve t-shirt.
