After a delicious soup supper, teams will assemble in costume and compete for their round and those preliminary round winners in a final championship round for the coveted Trivia Bowl Trophy. Teams consist of 3 or 4 persons, unless the combined ages of the team is greater than 180 years. In that case, a high school student may be added to the team. In addition to the $100 entry fee, each team will raise money for "mulligans" which, when utilized in competition, will allow them to consult a helper from the audience, get a second chance to answer before another team, or after elimination, buy back into the competition using the team's mulligans.

Teams may be sponsored by county businesses, civic organizations, churches, or just a group of friends or neighbors who want to participate.
A committee of teachers will be the source for the questions in this year's Trivia Bowl.
